Skyrocket juniperus scopulorum

Juniperus scopulorum ‘Skyrocket’ is a popular, fast-growing evergreen conifer known for its extremely narrow, upright, columnar form. It features striking silvery-blue-green, scale-like foliage that provides year-round colour, making it ideal for vertical accents, narrow screening, and formal landscape designs.

Plant Description & Characteristics:

• Form: Dense, very narrow, fastigiate (column-shaped) shrub or small tree with a strong vertical habit.
• Foliage: Aromatic, scale-like leaves that maintain a consistent silver-blue to blue-grey colour throughout the year.
• Growth Rate: Fast-growing, typically 20–40 cm per year, reaching around 3–4 metres in height within 10 years.
• Height/Width: Mature plants generally reach 4–6 metres tall (sometimes up to 10 metres) with a very narrow spread of about 0.6–1 metre.
